Last night’s explosive Divas segment, which seemed poised to start a “revolution” in the division, wasn’t supposed to happen as a early as it did, according to a report from PWInsider.
The report states that WWE management was “absolutely thrilled” with how the Divas segment went and feel that the division has “turned a corner”.
The initial plan, though, had been to do it closer to SummerSlam, but the U.S. Women’s World Cup win prompted them to push the plans up.
People from all over the industry were reacting to the segment on Twitter and Instagram, from the Divas themselves to WWE Hall of Famers and Sasha’s cousin Snoop Dogg:
