Britt Baker successfully returned home on this week’s AEW Dynamite when she and Jamie Hayter battled The Outcasts in the first match (second segment) of the night.
The action got underway quickly as Britt’s homecoming entrance was cut short when The Outcasts ambushed her and Hayter on the ramp. Once the bell rang, though, Storm and Hayter got to work. By commercial break, Soho took Baker out at ringside right in front of Britt’s family.
After the break, Baker got the hot tag and single-handedly took out both Storm and Soho with a flurry of offense. Hayter made the save when the numbers game caught up, hitting a sliding lariat on Storm only for Soho to break the cover. Saraya then whacked Britt with Hayter’s title, but she was able to kick out. In the end, Baker stomped Soho and applied the Lock Jaw for the submission win.
Later in the night when Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia attacked Adam Cole, Britt Baker confronted Jericho. Coming out alone proved to be a problem as all three of The Outcasts hit the ring and beat her up with a kendo stick while Cole was handcuffed to the ropes.
On a special Saturday edition of Rampage, Kiera Hogan will take on Julia Hart. Jade Cargill will also appear on Rampage just days before she defends her TBS Championship against Taya Valkyrie on next week’s Dynamite.
