Bayley thinks Sasha Banks is the best wrestler in the world

When most wrestlers get asked who they think is the best wrestler in the world right now, it’s easy for that wrestler to name themselves as the best. Quite frankly, depending on how confident the individual is, it’s easy for anyone in any profession to claim themselves as the best of their craft.

Not Bayley. Bayley is a little humbler than that. In her humbleness during an interview with The Metro, when asked who she thought the best wrestler in the world, she would say – without hesitation – Sasha Banks.

“She has it all, she has everything,” The Hugger would elaborate. “Her mind works like no other and her heart is undeniable.”

Bayley’s answer comes as no surprise given how closely she has worked with Banks for the better part of the last year in tag team competition.

After playing frenemies on and off ever since their NXT days, Sasha Banks and Bayley have been spending their ring time lately as a tag team called The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection. Their chemistry in tagging together has been so stellar that the two former Raw Women’s Champions seem to be primed to become the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in due time.

In all of this time, Bayley has worked with Banks closely both on and off screen. She has seen firsthand just how passionate The Boss is about this business and the meticulous thinking she dedicates to planning a match. If anyone would understand just how good Banks is, it would be Bayley.

In her own interview that she gave just under a year ago, Sasha Banks wasn’t as humble in naming the best wrestler in the world. Instead, in an interview with talkSPORT, Banks named herself as “the greatest women’s wrestler ever.”

Truth be told, humble or not, Sasha Banks has given enough consistently jaw dropping performances in the ring that it’s hard to disagree with her. She’s one of the few people who can call herself the best in the world and we completely believe it.

Going back to Bayley’s interview, she would also name Pete Dunne as the best wrestler from the United Kingdom and Tyler Breeze as the most underrated wrestler in the world.
