In an advertisement for Friday Night SmackDown that was sent out to fans, it lists Bayley as Bianca Belair‘s challenger for WrestleMania Backlash. This is shown to be a SmackDown Women’s Championship match.
Belair defeated Sasha Banks to win the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania two weeks ago in a historic main event. Bayley was left without a match for the event but stole the show as an extra host for both nights.
Last week Belair took the time to celebrate her momentous victory while providing a little jab to Banks. This enraged Banks to the point where she wasn’t able to get out any words to demand a rematch.
Bayley then stepped in and said that if Banks can’t ask for a rematch then she wants to bring prestige back to the SmackDown Women’s Title and wants a match against the new champion.
