PWI (Pro Wrestling Illustrated) announced that Bayley is officially number one on the PWI Women’s 100 list for 2020. The issue is available for preorder and digital download at PWI Online.
Bayley has had a phenomenal 12 months. She has easily been one of the most entertaining acts on WWE for months. She has held the SmackDown Women’s Championship for a whole year, successfully defending it eleven times.
PWI ranked Bayley number 6 in last year’s list. Now she takes the top spot for the first time.
All fellow Four Horsewomen join her in the top five. Last year’s number one, Becky Lynch comes in at number two. RAW Women’s Champion, Asuka takes third place. Charlotte comes in at fourth, and Sasha Banks takes fifth place.
AEW Women’s World Champion, Hikaru Shida is number six. Former IMPACT Wrestling Champion, Tessa Blanchard takes seventh place. Former High Speed Championship, Riho is ranked eighth. Ninth place goes to NXT Women’s Champion, Io Shirai and World of STARDOM Champion, Mayu Iwatani takes tenth place on the list.
