Today marks the day that Becky Lynch hit the huge milestone of holding the RAW Women’s Championship for 365 days.
The amazing accomplishment means she now joins an esteemed list of Trish Stratus, Asuka and Shayna Baszler, who have also held their respective championships for a full year.
It has certainly been one hell of a year for Lynch as she has marked so many crowning achievements. She celebrated the one-year “Man-iversay”, had the iconic broken face incident, main evented WrestleMania, become the longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion of all time and she now can add full-year champion to her already impressive list.
Lynch’s title reign began on this day last year when she defeated Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the first-ever women’s main event of WrestleMania 35. Since then, Lynch has successfully defended the championship against Lacey Evans, Natalya, Sasha Banks, Asuka and her most recent foe Shayna Baszler.
Lynch defeated Baszler at WrestleMania 36 Day 1. However, the feud doesn’t seem to be over if The Man’s amazing reply to Shayna’s tweet has anything to go by.
Lynch has beaten all who have stood in her way leaving her standing firmly atop of the women’s division and long may it continue.
