Becky Lynch recently commented on if she had any health concerns while taping WrestleMania. The event has concluded its taping as of yesterday and will air on April 4 & 5.
She recently spoke to Ariel Helwani on Instagram in regards to how she felt the tapings went amid the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The RAW Women’s Champion had the following to say:
“I didn’t have any concerns for myself. We really limited the amount of people that were there. The only thing I’m very conscientious of is now that we’re back and when we come back, we isolate ourselves for a couple of weeks and make sure we don’t have any symptoms before we go into the world again.”
Lynch would continue to comment on what precautions were being executed by WWE as a result of the serious nature we are all currently in.
“They’re staggering everything. If you don’t have a reason to be there, then get the hell out of there. If you have a match or segment then you’re there with a minimal amount of crew. When you come in, your temperature is taken, a questionnaire is filled out, and the doctors are there to meet you when you walk into the build.”
Lynch confirmed that her match against Shayna Baszler for the RAW Women’s Championship will be aired on night one of Mania. It has been up in the air as to if that match will be shown as the main event. At this time it isn’t confirmed.
