The rivalry between the Lass Kicker and the Spiteful One will continue as a rematch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship will take place next Tuesday.

Last week an impromptu bout took place between the two but was mired in controversy when Alexa Bliss claimed she suffered an injury, leading to a count out victory for Becky Lynch. However, Alexa still retained the title.

Daniel Bryan made the rematch after casting doubt on whether or not Alexa was truly injured, saying that the medical staff see no reason she can not compete:

Becky, disguised as La Luchadora, taught Alexa a lesson last night in a non-title match and would take home the victory after a top rope reversal into the Dis-Arm-Her. She would unmask herself to a stunned Women’s Champion.

The updated line-up for next week’s SmackDown Live in Chicago now features:

  • John Cena’s return
  • AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin (WWE world championship)
  • 4 Corners Elimination Tag Team title match
  • Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch (Women’s championship)

The match will air next Tuesday, December 27 at 8 pm ET on the USA Network.
