Becky Lynch took to social media to fire shots at her former rival Ronda Rousey. The RAW Women’s Champion replied to a tweet addressing the recent rumours the UFC Hall of Famer is set to return at the Royal Rumble.
Several outlets have recently reported Rousey could potentially return at the Rumble and WWE are “heavily considering” a title match between her and Lynch at WrestleMania 38.
Beck Time Becks answered the rumours in the only way she can stating:
“Was wondering if you’d show up again. I’ve still got her and she’s doing great”
Rousey’s WWE return has long been speculated ever since her departure in 2019. In her last match for the company, Rousey, along with Lynch and Charlotte Flair, made history when the trio became the first women to headline WrestleMania.
In the lead up to the historic event, Lynch and Rousey were intertwined in a heated rivalry, which resulted in the Man dethroning Rousey as champion at the “Showcase of the Immortals”.
Rousey made her WWE debut at 2018’s Royal Rumble, so it could be fitting she make her return at the same event four years later.
Lynch will defend the RAW title against Doudrop on Saturday night in St Louis at the Royal Rumble.
