Becky Lynch is joining the show Young Rock as it kicks off its third season.
In a report by PWInsider, Lynch has been cast as rock star Cyndi Lauper for the season three opener. Along with her role, the roles of Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Vince McMahon, Lou Albano, and Liberace are also going to be portrayed.
The episode will air on Friday, Nov. 4 with the episode titled The People Need You and it will be credited to her real name Rebecca Quin. The first episode deals with a party that Lauper throws around WrestleMania I and it is set in 1985. When the series was cast it showed Lauper was listed as a possible recurring character. So it is possible that Lynch may appear in other episodes.
The plot reads as – “After losing the election, Dwayne Johnson is ready to withdraw from politics. In 1985, Rocky Johnson learns there’s consequences to crossing Vince McMahon.”
