For real this time…
Becky Lynch will take on Bayley in a Steel Cage on next week’s episode of Raw in Orlando, Fla.
On the Jan. 30 episode of Raw, Bayley took to the ring to address what went down at the Royal Rumble. She gloated about eliminating Lynch and as far as she was concerned their rivalry is over with. Of course, Lynch wasn’t going to let that slide as she made her way out to the stage. She stated that they aren’t done with each other until The Man says so.
After some back-and-forth banter, Bayley went low and personal when she said that Lynch can’t even impress her husband. And the only reason why Seth Rollins married Lynch was because he knocked her up. Once Bayley went personal, Lynch demanded to have the steel cage match next week.
To make sure Bayley would give Lynch what she wanted, she went to the back and dragged out Dakota Kai with a steel chair already wrapped around her leg. Lynch removed the chair and was going to hit Kai with it but Bayley stopped her and gave her the match she wants for next week. Lynch then would tell Bayley that she may want to check on IYO SKY in the back as well.
Speaking of SKY, she had a match earlier in the night against Candice LeRae. This was said to be booked because SKY eliminated LeRae from the Royal Rumble. LeRae had Michin Mia Yim in her corner while SKY had both Kai and Bayley. LeRae and SKY have faced each other stemming back to NXT days but it is always SKY getting the victory. And once again, it would happen tonight.
After LeRae hit a codebreaker, Bayley provides a distraction that allowed SKY to get the roll up victory. Yim didn’t seem pleased by the result. Are we maybe going to see LeRae and Yim go for the tag titles at some point?
Maxxine Dupri and the Maximum Male Models appeared on Raw as well briefly. It appears they may have moved to the red brand.
You can check out more here from Monday Night Raw including the return of Carmella, Chelsea Green coming to Raw, and the announcement of an Elimination Chamber Match to determine the number one contender for Bianca Belair‘s Raw Women’s Championship.
Beth Phoenix did make an appearance after spearing Rhea Ripley at the Rumble. This time she delivered another spear assisting her husband at the end of Raw.
