It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise but the current plan for WrestleMania this year is to have Bianca Belair face Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Belair hasn’t officially made the decision of who she wants to face just yet on screen.
Current reports are indicating that this will be the case stemming from Belair’s win from the Royal Rumble. There have been talks about who Belair will pick both on and off-screen with the clear fan favorite choice being to have her face Banks. Belair has spent the weeks since earning her WrestleMania spot by providing the question of who will she face – Sasha or Asuka?
WrestleVotes is saying that as of this moment the conversation to have Belair vs. Banks is what WWE is moving forward with. However, also according to their source and as we know about wrestling, things can always change up until the moment the performer walks out on stage.
WrestleMania 37 will be taking place over the course of two nights on April 10 and April 11. The matches which will main event each show hasn’t fully been confirmed. Having two nights is the perfect time to allow the women to main event one of those nights and for that match to be Banks vs. Belair.
