The first wave of Teen Choice Award nominees have been released, and for yet another consecutive year, WWE women are a part of the batch!
Last year’s event saw Nikki and Brie Bella take home the crown of ‘Choice Female Athlete’ – making them the first WWE stars to not only win that award, but a TCA in general! ‘Total Divas’ has also been nominated multiple times.
Earlier this month, teens around the US made their nominations, and their voices were heard!
This year, another woman has been nominated for the award. Alongside the Bella Twins, the Boss Sasha Banks is also nominated for ‘Choice Female Athlete’! The two entrants are currently competing alongside:
- Simone Biles
- Elena Delle Donne
- Laurie Hernandez
- Serena Williams
Amongst this good TCA news, E! reality show ‘Total Bellas’ has been nominated for ‘Choice Reality Show’. This is the first time the Bella Twins spin-off has received this nod. The programme is up against the following:
- Chasing Cameron
- Dance Moms
- Keeping Up With The Kardashians
- Masterchef Junior
- The Voice
To vote for the awards, you can head to social media pages such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and do the following:
Use the category hashtag (either #ChoiceFemaleAthlete or #ChoiceRealityTVShow) and mention the name of your nominee via their handle or simply stating their name. The hashtag #TeenChoice must also be included in the tweet. Here are three examples of what to do:
