Diva Dirt’s 2016 Legacy Award winner Lisa Marie Varon, is a member of a small group of women who achieved greatness in the two biggest companies in the world: WWE and TNA. With several feuds and matches in both promotions, she has created a catalouge of work that is what wrestlers can only dream of.
From 2002-2009 in the WWE, she was Victoria. As a heel, she was captivatingly unhinged, obesessed with destruction, and powerful. She went after her adversaries with an unmatched aggressiveness and power. From setting her target on a young Trish Stratus to sending Christy Hemme to school at Vengeance 2005, she proved she wasn’t the lady to mess with. As a babyface, she was the life of the party. Dancing around to an upbeat version of her entrance theme, and overcoming huge odds with the crowd in full support of her. Her run in WWE was the story of an upstart with a lot of promise turned veteran who elevated the division time and time again.
Notable matches and accolades during WWE run:

After her run in WWE ended in early 2009, Varon found second life in TNA. From 2009-2013, she transformed to Tara. Early on, she targeted the Beautiful People and the Knockouts Championship. After a back and forth war, she would remain a fixture in the title scene. She placed her career on the line in a losing effort against “The Killer Queen” Madison Rayne that was a part of a major plan to not only allign herself with Rayne but then to win back the TNA Knockouts title. She had a major feud with tag partner Brooke over the Knockouts Championship amongst many other major moments during her blockbuster tenure. She proved to be a reliable veteran in TNA that excelled on a consistent basis.
