The latest episode of Table for 3 features three women from the black and gold era of NXT: Rhea Ripley, Queen Zelina and current RAW Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair.
In the segment below, Zelina poses the question about their first meetings. Belair discusses how much she wanted to wrestle Ripley after seeing her during a class with Sara Amato.
“She was in there throwing dropkicks, she was taking punches and I was just like ‘I wanna wrestle her! I like her! I wanna make some magic in the ring with her!” – Belair
The conversation naturally progresses to the NXT TakeOver: WarGames match from 2019 that featured Team Ripley vs Team Baszler with Belair and Ripley on opposing sides.
“To be able to have that relationship with each other and then go in the ring and create that magic with each other.”- Belair
A Raw Women’s Championship match between the two was originally planned but an injury sidelined The Nightmare and it is yet to be revisited. Her replacement was Carmella for this match and it took place at the Money in the Bank event.
Belair is currently in a feud with the trio of Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai while Ripley has recently drew the ire of Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix.
