RISE Wrestling is hosting its final live event titled, LEGENDARY – A CHARMING FINALE that will take place on March 27. This event will feature the current Phoenix of RISE Champion Big Swole defending her title against Kylie Rae. Big Swole defeated former champion, Zoe Lucas, in August at The Summit.
Rae is a former champion but only for a brief moment. She defeated Mercedes Martinez last March but ended up losing the title in the same night against Lucas.
RISE is coining this as their final live event but explain that it is not the exact end of RISE. They explained on Twitter that it is merely the “end of an era.” They will continue to build women’s wrestling through training and teaching. RISE was founded and created in 2016 by Harvey who was a former SHIMMER ring announcer. It was originally started to scout out new talent and host wrestling seminars in the industry. From this, they started having their own shows. These included pay-per-views and even weekly shows known as
This final event will also include The Guardians of RISE Champions defending their titles. The current champions are The Killer Death Machines (Jessicka Havok & Neveah) who have held the title since last March. They will face the winners of a tag team rumble.
