On this week’s episode of NXT UK Blair Davenport made sure her name was on everyone’s lips. The newcomer blasted not only her opponent but also the Assistant to the General Manager in a vicious attack.
Nina Samuels and Davenport were scheduled to face off, but the match did not take place. As Samuels was completing her entrance, Davenport launched her off the ring apron to the floor.
The attack continued in the ring with a Falcon Arrow and before Davenport could inflict any more damage referees and the AGM halted the assault. But Davenport wasn’t finished and planted the suit with a Kamigoye and a Falcon Arrow.
The fallout of this should be interesting as they continue to build Davenport as the division’s top and most ruthless heel.
Next up Jinny addresses her loss to Aoife Valkyrie last week. Despite the loss, Jinny came out unscathed whereas Valkyrie suffered a knee injury meaning that the Fashionista is the one still standing.
There is still no official confirmation regarding Valkyrie’s injury as of yet but we will update as soon as that happens.
Also on the show, Amale took on Emilia McKenzie for the chance to face Meiko Satomura once again.
Amale and McKenzie put on a hard-hitting and intense affair. The bout featured forearms, kicks and stinging strikes galore.
McKenzie captured the win with a surprise roll-up much to the disdain of the French Hope. Judging by the reaction after the match it looks as though this is not over.
