Blair Davenport has reemerged and will be vying to become the first-ever Women’s United States Champion. She faces both Bianca Belair and Chelsea Green in a first round Triple Threat next week on SmackDown. The winner of this match will take on Bayley in the semi-finals.
On SmackDown LowDown, Davenport speaks on her challengers. She calls them “burnt out” and “overworked” while she has been “resting. recovering, and working on herself.”
Davenport has not had a televised match since August, but she did appear in the Speed Tournament losing to Naomi in September.
Davenport seems focus and poised to win it all.
Also on SmackDown LowDown, Byron Saxton interviews Nia Jax on her win. He questions how much help she received between both Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae. This caused a bit of an argument between Stratton and LeRae before Jax stopped it and blamed Saxton for trying to stir things up.
