AEW announced another jam-packed card for tonight’s AEW Dark. Out of the eleven matches taking place, Brandi Rhodes and Big Swole will both be in action.
Brandi Rhodes will take on Kenzie Paige and Big Swole returns to face Skyler Moore.
Big Swole has been absent from AEW after she defeated Britt Baker in the Tooth and Nail match at All Out last month. Swole returns to action against Moore tomorrow.
Brandi Rhodes has been on a decent as of late with some really good matches especially against Ann Jay. The two met on the special edition Late Night Dynamite show last month. Jay would get the better of Rhodes and choke her out in the middle of the ring.
No doubt Brandi will be looking to get back to winning ways and considering this is AEW Dark it is pretty much a given.
On a side note, I am finding AEW Dark incredibly frustrating. Every week ten or more matches are crammed into a 90-minute show, therefore not giving any match time. The outcome of the matches is highly predictable thus making them meaningless.
If the show had fewer matches that were given more time, story and meaning AEW could start to build a decent undercard. This move could be extremely beneficial for the women’s division. Instead of talents like KiLynne King, Red Velvet and Skyler Moore being 3-minute fodder for the main roster talent, they could be grown into credible members of the roster. If this were to happen would achieve several things. Firstly it would create new members of the roster. Secondly, it would give us a reason to watch AEW Dark and something more interesting to write about every week.
