*Update* Breaking KAYfABE with Lita, Gail Kim, and Christy Hemme

Update: A countdown clock has been added to the mix to unveil what this all means. It is counting down live to 6:30 PM ET. It is on YouTube and can be seen on the tweet below.

There is also a new tweet that shows the women holding up signs that say, “Don’t Rock The Boat,”Know Your Place,” and “Fall in Line.”

Check back in to Diva Dirt to see what this is all about.

Unless you just started watching wrestling yesterday, you know what the term “kayfabe” means.

Kayfabe; noun

  • (in professional wrestling) the fact or convention of presenting staged performances as genuine or authentic.

Circulating the Twitterverse are black and white photos of Lita, Gail Kim, and Christy Hemme. These photos have the ladies with their mouths covered with tape that has the word KAYfABE written on it.

All three women have changed their Twitter photos to their respective picture. There is also a twitter account made under the handle @ThisisKAYfABE that highlights each woman’s photo. The caption on each photo states – #KAYfABE #breakingKAYfABE #ThisIsKAYfABE.

There is no official explanation on what this statement could mean (if anything) or what the thought behind this is.

They are doing appearances together. The one listed below has all three appearing at WrestleFest 2.

Out of the three women presented, Lita is the only one who has frequently been involved with WWE. Gail Kim serves as a producer for IMPACT Wrestling. Hemme’s last appearance related to WWE was in 2017 when she was at the Hall of Fame for Beth Phoenix. She was a ring announcer and interviewer for TNA from 2009 to 2016.

What do you make of these photos? Do you think that it is a cryptic message and there will be more to follow? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
