Britt Baker reveals she suffered an injury at AEW Fyter Fest Night 2

Britt Baker successfully defended the AEW Women’s World Championship at Fyter Fest Night 2, but at a cost.

During the match with Nyla Rose, Baker suffered the injury but managed to finish the match and defeat the ‘Native Beast’.

Baker revealed that she has broken her wrist in a tweet with MMA star Paige Van Zant and made it clear she would not be taking any time off.

Here’s what Baker wrote;

With @paigevanzant …And oh yeah, I retained the title on Wednesday night at #aewdynamite with a broken wrist. Not taking any time off either. #AndStill

At Fyter Fest Night 2 Baker defeated former AEW women’s champion, Nyla Rose. It was her first defence of the title she won at Double or Nothing when she dethroned the longest-reigning AEW champion, Hikaru Shida.

Baker suffered a serious injury last year, which kept her away from the ring for six months. During this time she appeared regularly on Dynamite and greatly improved her character and mic work.

All at Diva Dirt wish Dr Britt Baker a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see her in the ring very soon.
