This week on AEW Dynamite Britt Baker is set to make her in-ring return to face Big Swole.
The match came about after Swole defeated Baker’s long-suffering assistant Reba/Rebel on Aug, 5 to receive the opportunity to face Baker in a future match.
This week Swole gets her chance, however, Baker will be teaming with Rebel and Penelope Ford to take on Big Swole in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match.
Baker and Swole have been in a feud for some time, but due to Baker’s injured knee, the two are yet to get physical. Baker has been out with an injury since May but has appeared regularly on the show. Tensions between the two began when Baker interrupted Swole during an interview. This led to Swole being suspended for “kidnapping” Baker on Jun, 17 episode of Dynamite.
Most recently, Baker would distract Swole during the Women’s Tag Team Tournament – The Deadly Draw match. This distraction would cause her and partner, Nicole Savoy to lose the match.
This match and stipulation are to add further obstacles between Swole and Baker. Expect minimal contact between the two as AEW build their one-on-one match for All Out.
