Ruby Soho will be getting her AEW Women’s Championship opportunity next week against Dr. Britt Baker on the Sept. 22 Dynamite Grand Slam.
Soho made her AEW debut at All Out at the beginning of the month and picked up a big win in the Casino Battle Royale giving her this championship opportunity. Since her debut, she has pinned both women there to help the champion. She defeated Jamie Hayter in singles action and pinned Rebel in a six-woman trios match on last week’s Rampage.
As for this week’s Rampage, Anna Jay will take on The Bunny. Since Jay’s return, she and Tay Conti have had a brewing rivalry with The Bunny and Penelope Ford. The following Rampage on Sept. 24 will be a two-hour episode but a women’s match has not been announced at this time.
On tonight’s Dynamite, Jade Cargill faced Leyla Hirsch in a solid match. After Hirsch missed with a moonsault, this allowed Cargill to utilize her finisher, Jaded, to get the win. Cargill stays undefeated since her debut in March.
