Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa confirmed for AEW Revolution; Jade Cargill defends TBS Championship on Feb. 23 Dynamite

On tonight’s AEW Rampage, two upcoming championship matches were announced.

First, on the Feb. 23 episode of Dynamite, Jade Cargill will look to add another win to her undefeated streak as she defends her TBS Championship against The Bunny. Cargill is 27-0 in her record and since becoming the inaugural TBS Champion she has successfully defended against Anna Jay, Julia Hart, and most recently against A.Q.A.

A women’s bout is finally added to the upcoming AEW pay-per-view Revolution which will be taking place on March 6.

Dr. Britt Baker will be defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thunder Rosa. In the past few weeks, Baker has been on a mission to put an end to Rosa with the additional help of Mercedes Martinez. Baker’s issues with Rosa stem back to the better part of a year. They last battled in singles competition nearly a year ago in an Unsanctioned Lights Out match that is still talked about to this day.

Martinez was unable to get a victory against Rosa on this past week’s Dynamite in a no disqualification match which led to Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel leaving Rosa and Martinez laying on the mat.

On tonight’s Rampage, Serena Deeb had her five-minute rookie challenge with her opponent being Angelica Risk. Deeb made Risk tap under three minutes to the Serenity Lock.
