Britt Baker wins the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in the finals that took place on Sunday at the promotion’s Double or Nothing event. The finals saw Baker take on Ruby Soho after the two went through several opponents to get the opportunity to win the inaugural Owen Hart Cup.
Following a curb stomp from Baker for a near fall, she went for the Lockjaw but Soho avoided it. Soho followed up with the No Future Kick and locked in a Sharpshooter tight on her opponent. Baker would eventually make it to the ropes to break the hold. Soho went for a victory roll but Baker rolled into a pinning combination of her own to get the three count.
Adam Cole won the men’s Owen Hart Cup and after Baker won the couple celebrated on stage. They were given title belts for their win presented by Dr. Martha Hart.
