Earlier this year, indy star Brittney Savage announced that she would leave wrestling this December, saying it was something she had been considering for months.
Just last month, though, Brittney seemed to be reconsidering that decision, tweeting that she had something big in the works:
Due to something big that just happened for me, I will not be retiring from wrestling, unless things fall through ????????

Today, it looks like those plans have indeed fallen through. She tweeted:
Since the reasoning 4 me 2 stay in wrestling hasn't turned out,Iam officially retired from wrestling.I have a lot of things 2 look forward 2

It appears that Brittney – a former WSU Tag Team Champion with current WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee – has no future bookings and is thus leaving the business earlier than expected.
This is definitely disappointing news, but we wish Brittney the best with her future plans.
