Can Baszler and Sane make history?

1. Becky Lynch (c) vs Charlotte Flair
Last Woman Standing Match

Evolution, 10/28/2018
Smackdown Women’s Championship

It is fitting that the top two matches on this list involve the Four Horsewomen. Just like the heated rivalry between Banks and Bayley, this match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair was as personal as it gets. The former best friends have been going at it since Lynch felt that her spotlight was stolen at SummerSlam. Flair became champion at SummerSlam by defeating not only then champion Carmella, but her best friend Lynch. Ever since then Lynch has proven that playing nice got her nowhere and playing dirty has led her to the top of the WWE.

Lynch beat Flair for the title at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. It was only a matter of time before the fans received a stipulation match between these two and they did not disappoint.

Many moments throughout this match involved weapons between the two. Lynch was the first to pull out a weapon in the form of a kendo stick. After many hits to her opponent, both Lynch and Flair went for a steel chair…or two…or three. Both ladies emptied out the stock of chairs that were under the ring and deposited them into the ring. After many uses of the steel chairs, Lynch was able to get Flair to stay down the longest so far in the match with a count of eight.

After they were done with the chairs, naturally tables come next. Flair does a moonsault, but is unable to break the table that Lynch was laying on. She tries again and is able to leap off the top rope and this time crash through the table. This leads both women to barely make the 10 count as they make it back to their feet at the count of 9.

Flair was next able to do what some fans have called the moment of the match and that was a figure eight leg lock with a ladder. Flair was able to lock in the submission on Lynch as she was intertwined in a ladder. After the hold broke and the action spilled to the outside, the champion attempts to escape with her title through the crowd. Flair stays on her and was able to fight her way back to the ringside area.

Flair cleared off the German announce table and set up a ladder in hopes to use this to her advantage. Lynch however, used this to her advantage instead as she climbed the ladder and came crashing down on Flair who was laid out on the announce table. Flair then provoked her former best friend by saying “is that all you got?”

Lynch piled everything she could find on top of Flair in attempts to bury her. The announcer’s chairs, the steel chairs, a broken table, etc. Flair was able to emerge from the ruble and beat the 10 count. The match culminated with one more table. Lynch was able to execute a massive powerbomb from the ring apron as Flair came crashing through the table at ringside. Flair was unable to stand by the count of 10 and Lynch emerged as the victor declaring herself as “The Man.”

Who do you think will be the victor at Takeover: Wargames, Kairi Sane or Shayna Baszler? Will this match make it to the top of the history books? What other matches with stipulations made your top 5?
