Candice LeRae is just hours away of possibly becoming the new NXT Women’s Champion. That is if she can dethrone one of the bests in NXT history. LeRae has had a memorable feud with the current champion Io Shirai before. That time there was no gold on the line and it wasn’t a fight for the top of the division.
Prior to the TakeOver: 31 event tonight, the Poison Pixie took to her Twitter account to open up to some Questions & Answers. She joined with her husband Johnny Gargano with the hashtag #AskTheGarganos.
One of the questions from a fan was who would LeRae want to face as far as legends. She broke it down into, Overall, Mixed Tag, and Battle of the Power Couples.
As far as an overall choice, she has chosen Molly Holly. A legend who should be in WWE’s Hall of Fame is a perfect choice to see LeRae tangle with in the ring at perhaps an Evolution 2.
She chose current Hall of Famers Beth Phoenix & Edge as a mix tag team match with her and Gargano. For a Battle of the Power Couples she would love to get in the ring with Stephanie McMahon & Triple H.
LeRae has been a permanent fixture on NXT since she debuted with WWE in 2018. With the upcoming draft, there is a possibility we could see her move to a new brand. She was asked who a dream match would be for her on either RAW or SmackDown. She provided the answers of Ruby Riott and Bayley.
