Carmella has FINALLY become the 24/7 Champion on tonight’s RAW. She made her way to the ring with R-Truth who was the current champion heading into the show. As they frantically looked around while in the ring, the normal superstars made their way to the ring in their normal chase to pin Truth. Carmella takes to the mic in order to stop the nonsense.
As the male talent surrounds the ring on the apron, she states that she has had enough of watching her back every moment of every day. For the past four months, she has helped Truth win back the title so many times that even the commentators have lost count. After counting on both hands and feet he is at a total of 19-reigns. It would make anyone exhausted so who could blame Carmella?
This, however, was just a ruse as she would roll up her buddy Truth and get the three count making her the new 24/7 Champion. She would celebrate in the ring alongside Truth. The celebration wouldn’t last long as she had to hop on Truth’s back and get out of dodge as several female superstars ran down the ring and chased her out of the arena.
Sarah Logan, Billie Kay, Dana Brooke, and Tamina would all make their attempts to catch her as the segment ends.
This makes Carmella the fifth woman to hold the title. At the RAW Reunion show in July, Kelly Kelly would become the first female champion followed by Candice Michelle and Alundra Blayze in the same night. Maria Kanellis would become the first pregnant champion a week later. She would win and then lose the title to Mike Kanellis after holding it for a week.
Will Carmella be able to make it out of RAW still as the 24/7 Champion? Or will another female superstar capture the title? Do you think R-Truth will take it right back?
