The artist formerly known as Peyton Royce of The IIconics has disclosed what dreams and aspirations lay ahead for her.
WWE released Cassie Lee earlier this year and now that her 90-day non-complete cause has expired many fans are expecting to see her turn up in IMPACT! or AEW. However, in a recent interview, she revealed that she is exploring other avenues.
Lee was a guest on the most recent edition of INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. During the interview, Lee explained that she is pursuing dreams other than wrestling, but confirmed she isn’t finished inside the ring.
Here’s what Lee revealed:
“I don’t feel like I am done with wrestling. I have dreams that I especially wanted to grasp between me and Jess getting split up and me being let go.
“I still want to chase that, but my big dream now is I want to be a movie star. I feel that is a natural way that wrestlers want to go. So I have been taking acting lessons for going on two years now. I just love it, I love the process of learning a new industry. And I can’t wait to feel like I know the industry inside out like I do with wrestling.”
It seems as though her acting lessons are paying off. As a member of the IIconics Lee never failed to entertain. Her backstage skits made for hilarious viewing while her comedic timing and promo work were excellent.
Before her release, Lee cut one hell of a promo on RAW Talk. In the promo, she aired frustrations about her position within the company. It garnered a lot of attention and led to a match with then RAW Women’s Champion, Asuka.
