Cathy Kelley has announced that as of this Sunday after NXT TakeOver: Portland she will no longer be with the company. She explained her decision on her social media and confirmed that Feb. 16 will be her last day.
In her tearful message, Kelley thanks WWE as a whole along with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in particular. She notes that her decision to leave is for a reason to grow and that she is unsure where her next chapter will lead her but she seems ready and excited.
Kelley joined WWE in February 2016 predominately based in the NXT brand. She has served as a backstage interviewer as well as a social media correspondent. She has also been the host of WWE’s YouTube program known as WWE NOW.
Her time outside of the company has involved her work with After Buzz TV where she has even hosted her own shown called “Chatting with Cathy.”
