WWE’s first-ever all women PPV event Evolution is nearly a month away. Along with the Raw, SmackDown, NXT (spoiler here), and NXT UK Women Championships all being defended at the event, a few matches have already been officially confirmed for the card that includes:
- Alexa Bliss vs. Trish Stratus
- Mickie James vs. Lita
- Mae Young Classic II Finals
In an interview with Give Me Sport, Charlotte Flair explains why would prefer to face Becky Lynch at Evolution rather than any returning legends.

“It’s not that I don’t dream about wrestling Trish [Stratus] or Lita, but with the current storyline with Becky Lynch and I being so heated, it means that much more. It’s not like ‘oh, there would be this match just thrown out on the card because it would be exciting’, what makes it exciting is the storyline behind it. You see these two best friends competing for the top place and then Becky evolving; so it’s not that I wouldn’t want to – it’s all about the story.”
Charlotte Flair is currently set to face Becky Lynch in a SmackDown Women’s Title rematch at WWE Super Show-Down on Oct 6th.
