It’s official, the Female Terminator will make her return to Berwyn.
It’s been announced on social media that at RISE 3 – MEDIC this coming Friday night, 2-time SHIMMER Champion and star of El Rey Network’s hit series Lucha Underground Cheerleader Melissa will make her RISE debut to take on one of the faces of Women of Honor Deonna Purrazzo, in what is sure to get the crowds buzzing. In regards to the announcement, RISE founder Kevin Harvey said on Twitter; “I’ve never been the best at keeping secrets…”

It has been nearly a year since Melissa set foot inside the Berwyn Eagles Club, and while many things have changed since she last appeared in SHIMMER, she would be more poised to show why she’s the best at her profession. While Deonna is no pushover, she has some major upside due to clashes in Ring Of Honor with Kelly Klein and others. While a win for Deonna will rise stock even more, but a win for Melissa means she has not lost her step inside the ring. It should be a most talked about match as this is the first time these two women’s wrestling stars square off in the ring.
Also on that night, we will see Phoenix of RISE Champion Shotzi Blackheart take on Angel Dust in a Dog Collar Match as well as Rosemary vs. Delilah Doom and other solid action featuring Hudson Envy, Kikyo, Britt Baker, Chelsea Green and others. RISE 3 – MEDIC will officially kickoff an epic SHIMMER weekend with higher expectations and plenty of good old fashioned women’s wrestling action in Chicago.
