Cheerleader Melissa has made history as the first two-time SHIMMER Champion, defeating Saraya Knight in a steel cage match at SHIMMER 53.
The long feud culminated today at the company’s first ever Internet pay per view as part of WrestleCon in Seacacus, New Jersey, where Melissa put away her rival with a combination of a high risk hurricanrana, a missile dropkick and Air Raid Crash.

The win marks her second reign as champion. Melissa’s first reign was ended by Saraya in March 2012.
Elsewhere on the jam packed card, Kharma, Serena Deeb and Madison Eagles all made their returns to the ring for SHIMMER, Jessicka Havok made a shocking debut and former SHIMMER star Daffney made a surprise cameo.
