Hello everyone, welcome to the CMLL weekly review! This week the Amazons are prepping up for their big all-women event with a series of interviews, arrivals, and matches.
In the “Martes de Glamour,” the Amazons main evented in a two out of three falls tag team match. La Catalina teamed up with one half of the Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kira, and with La Jarochita versus the Mexican National Women’s Champion Sanely, the CMLL World Women’s Champion Zeuxis, and her tag partner Dark Silueta.
Las rudas began the match attacking the babyfaces on the entrance ramp, outside of the ring, while things got started inside of the ring with Sanely and la Catalina. The three babyfaces were able to pull an upset and score the first fall with a surprise roll-up.
Sanely and Dark Silueta were able to even the scores, getting the second fall with a fisherman driver and a hammerlock guillotine choke. Las técnicas tried to match the aggressiveness of the heels, allowing them to get the final fall and win the match.
On Wednesday on the CMLL Informa show, Sanely had a face-off with the number one contenders, Persephone and India Sioux, to promote their March 7th event and the upcoming tag team match.
Perse questioned why Zeuxis was not with them and stated that she believes Zeuxis is scared of her and scared of losing her title. India Sioux and Perse said that the champs need to be dragged (just like India dragged her in a previous encounter). The three of them exchanged words back and forth.
On Friday, the tag team match between the champions and the number one contenders ended in no contest after Sanely took India Sioux’s mask, while Persephone took Zeuxis’s mask; the four of them fought to end the segment.
And lastly Viva Van and Johnnie Robbie returned to CMLL representing NJPW, they defeated Reyna Isis and La Jarochita in a tag match last Saturday night.
