Hi everyone, Last night, CMLL had their Amazonians compete in the so-called Australian tag team match. Las rudas, Metálica, Reyna Isis, and their team captain and CMLL World Women’s Champion, Zeuxis, faced the técnicas team of India Sioux and The Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions, Skadi and team captain Kira.
The match was started by the returning India Sioux and the women’s champion Zeuxis, going toe to toe with each other until Zeuxis left the ring after a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from India Sioux.
Reyna Isis steps up and quickly regains control with a more aggressive approach, kicking and kneeing the head of her opponent. Kira then took advantage of her athleticism over the Rudas team; after doing so, the powerhouses of each team, Metálica and Skadi, met in the ring. Soon after, they were able to showcase their team chemistry by winning the first fall for their team with an assisted body press from our national tag team champions.
In the second fall, the Rudas team was able to act cohesively, followed by a distraction from Zeuxis to Sioux. The heels ganged up first on India Sioux, who had control of the match, kicked and hit her along with Skadi to terminate the second fall with a combo consisting of a spine buster and an assisted kick to the chin, making Kira, the team captain, fall onto the knees of Metallica, only for Reyna Isis to hit her with a leg drop, then the Puerto Rican finished with a running double knee drop for the win.
In the third fall, las rudas continued to take control, this time focusing first on Skadi. Some heads were kicked and some hair was pulled. The babyface team tried to steal the win with their quickness, and after a near fall, they took the control back. Kira took Zeuxis out with a suicide dive, but Metálica and Reyna Isis were able to finally get the last fall with a powerbomb and a fisherman suplex.
In la Arena Coliseo de Guadalajara, first we had a six-Amazonians tag team match between the teams of Valkyria, Nexy, and Hatanna versus Lady Shadow, Miss Guerrera, and Emperatriz. We also had a single match between La Catalina and Dark Silueta.
La Catalina was able to defeat Dark Silueta while Lady Shadow, Miss Guerrera, and Emperatriz were able to score the win. You can watch these two matches by the end of the week through the CMLL Youtube Channel.
