Dakota Kai vs. Raquel Gonzalez set for a Street Fight on next week’s NXT 2.0

Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez aren’t finished with each other just yet. Next week they will battle in a Street Fight.

Cora Jade defeated Dakota Kai

Kai suffered defeat on this week’s NXT 2.0 as she did battle with Cora Jade. Jade continues her winning ways after she pinned Kai who was set to use the infamous shovel on her opponent. The referee wasn’t going to allow the shovel to come into play and after he pulled it out of the hands of Kai, Jade took advantage and stacked her up for the three count.

After the match, Kai laid out Jade with a kick and went for the shovel once again before Gonzalez rushed to the ring to throw punches and make the save. Kai and Gonzalez battle on the outside before leaving the ringside area.

Jade, who was alone in the ring, was distracted by the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) who made their entrance. The NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose who was on commentary throughout the match and took advantage of the distraction and attacked Jade from behind. Rose wrenched the injured arm of Jade before faceplanting her into the mat.

The three champions raise their titles on the ramp to end the segment.

Rose had a Digital Exclusive where she has explained her experience while calling Jade a rookie and a little girl. She says she has learned to be smarter and ruthless and learned how to fight like a woman.

Moments later, Kai and Gonzalez are seen brawling in the parking lot which is why the Street Fight for next week was booked.

Ivy Nile defeated Amari Miller

A second women’s match took place which had Ivy Nile facing Amari Miller. Nile dominated the first half of the match, but Miller showed her skills and started fighting back. After a roundhouse kick in the corner, Miller obtains a near fall before Nile gained back control. She locks in a submission to cause Miller to tap.

After picking up her debut win on 205 Live, Lash Legend returns on NXT with a new ‘Lashing out’ segment. She had Jacket Time as her guest and Wendy Choo made an appearance.

Lastly, Io Shirai and Tiffany Stratton both appeared to air their grievances to Grayson Waller after his attack on Johnny Gargano last week.
