Dana Brooks, errr, Brooke…is now a three-time 24/7 Champion.
In a double commitment ceremony that took place on this week’s Raw, Dana Brooke and Tamina tied the knot with Reggie and Akira Tozawa respectively. Despite the ceremony having Tamina confused as to which individual she actually wanted to get married to, the two couples did end up as husband and wife.
Sasha Banks, Naomi, and Nikki A.S.H. were in attendance.
Things became chaotic as the husbands kissed their brides when Reggie lowered Brooke down to the mat and pinned her to become the 24/7 Champion. It didn’t stop there as Tamina delivered a superkick to Reggie and pinned him to become a two-time 24/7 Champion.
Tozawa continued the opportunity by pinning his now-wife to become a 12-time champion. Lastly, Brooke would capture the title for a third time and escape with the championship she walked in with by delivering a cross body in her wedding dress off the top rope and pinning Tozawa. Brooke would hop on the back of R-Truth as they made their way up the ramp.
In a Digital Exclusive, Sarah Schreiber tries to get interviews with the new couples and the attendees after a hectic ceremony. Still on the back of R-Truth, Dana says she hates Reggie. Tamina is joyous about everything as she celebrates with Banks and Naomi as Team B.A.D. Nikki A.S.H. says she always cries at weddings.
Brooke sits second with the longest-reigning combined days at 141-days and counting between three reigns.
