Dana Brooke recently signed a five-year deal in December to extend her time with WWE. Brooke originally signed with the company in 2013 and since then it could be argued that her talent hasn’t truly been tapped into. This hasn’t deterred her from having high hopes in her career for her future. She plans on honing in on her craft to one day be a champion.
She spoke with The Pop Break about her goals and her relationship with Lacey Evans. The two were proving to be quite impressive as a tag team earlier this year.
“I’ve signed a new five-year contract. So right now I just want to keep improving and strive for the best. In my mind, I think Lacey Evans and I work great together. She always pushes me to the best of my abilities. When we can come together I feel like we’re a very dominant team.”
She continues, “With that being said, I would love to go up for the tag team titles. And you know the Kabuki Warriors have the titles right now – Asuka and I have quite the history as well. So I definitely have some unfinished business with her. You know, I would love for Ronda Rousey to come back.
Ronda is a close friend of mine but a great competitor as well. She really makes me step up my game so that would be amazing and obviously [winning] the SmackDown Women’s Title as well. The sky’s the limit!!”
Brooke had a big history with Asuka in the NXT brand where she was teamed with Emma. Since moving to SmackDown from RAW in October, Brooke has been seen more frequently. She was last seen on the Feb 7 episode of SmackDown where she was involved in the Fatal 4-Way to determine Bayley‘s next opponent. That match was won by Carmella.
