Danielle Kamela picks up her first win in AEW as she defeats Rache Chanel on AEW: Dark. She won by pinfall after delivering a unique neck breaker finisher.
Kamela picked up a win just at the right time as she is heading into tonight’s Dynamite to face Dr. Britt Baker. The two meet in a qualifier match for the upcoming Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Already qualified for the tournament include Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida, Red Velvet, and Ruby Soho.
This week’s Dynamite is in Baker’s hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Kamela has some “strong opinions” for her heading into their bout that can be viewed below. Baker refused to appear on AEW programming since losing the AEW Women’s World Title to Thunder Rosa until she was back in her hometown.
Also on AEW: Dark this week, Marina Shafir defeated Alejandra Lion. Shafir is the next opponent for Jade Cargill’s TBS Championship and they will face off this Friday on Rampage with the gold on the line.
Toni Storm also defeated Gigi Rey
