Last night’s WWE NXT broadcast from Philadelphia’s historic 2300 Arena, paying homage to the venue’s storied past while showcasing the future of wrestling. Let’s jump right into it!
The show opened with Ava addressing the Philadelphia crowd, expressing honor in hosting NXT at the iconic 2300 Arena. She announced the return of the Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at “NXT” Deadline in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Hardcore Match: Jaida Parker vs. Lola Vice (Special Guest Referee: Dawn Marie)
Parker wastes no time, launching an early attack. She grabs a chair, but Vice counters quickly, smashing the chair back into Parker’s face with a spinning backfist. The action spills to the outside, where Vice pulls out a table. However, she takes a bit too long, giving Parker the opening to knock her down. Parker then throws a few chairs into the ring, but a big swing misses, and Vice takes advantage with another knockdown just as we head to a break.
As we return, the ring is littered with weapons, including several ladders. Parker seizes control, hitting a powerful spinebuster and placing Vice on a ladder. Climbing a standing ladder, Parker goes for a massive Tear Drop onto Vice, scoring a close two-count. With adrenaline high, Parker grabs more weapons, but her momentary hesitation lets Vice recover, who strikes her down with a series of kendo stick shots.
Vice then traps Parker in a trashcan and slams into her with a running hip attack, narrowly missing the pinfall. Parker retaliates by throwing the trashcan right at Vice. Back inside the ring, Vice unleashes more kendo stick shots, but Parker catches her off-guard with a sideslam onto a chair. She follows up with a running elbow that sends Vice crashing into a ladder, scoring another close two-count.
In a dramatic finish, Parker grabs a freaken BRICK and shatters it over Vice’s head, though it only gets her a two-count (what?). Determined to finish things, Parker delivers the Hipnotic, sealing the win in this brutal showdown. Rob Van Dam was seen offering advice to Kelani Jordan.
Winner: Jaida Parker
Tony Mamaluke has gotten Adriana Rizzo a match up against Nikkita Lyons next week!
Kelani Jordan and her team share some motivation ahead of the ten-woman tag match. Jordan reveals she’s fluent in Spanish, surprising her teammates. However, their prep is interrupted by Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, who come in boasting about their pursuit of the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer, though, don’t seem particularly impressed.
Nikkita had a promo backstage saying she’s ready to take out everyone and win gold.
Ten-Woman Tag Team Match
Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley vs. Zaria, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, and Jordynne Grace
Jordan opens with a series of arm drags and a sharp dropkick to Henley, gaining the early edge before tagging in Vaquer. Vaquer delivers a springboard crossbody, keeping the momentum rolling. Nyx enters next but gets tangled in a 619, allowing Giulia to follow up with a double elbow drop for a two-count. Perez tags in but takes an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Giulia. An opportunistic shot from the apron stalls Giulia’s offense, giving Perez the chance to land a running dropkick against the ropes.
Zaria steps in, teasing a powerbomb, sparking all ten competitors to flood the ring in a chaotic face-off. The action spills to the floor, with the villains regrouping on the outside just in time for Jordan to soar off the ropes with a big moonsault, sending us to a commercial break.
Back from the break, Jordan finds herself knocked outside, where Nyx seizes the chance to dive onto Giulia and Vaquer. Inside, Jordan rallies but gets cut off by Henley just before tagging out. With a dramatic dive, she manages to tag Grace, who storms in, clearing the ring.
Grace crushes Jade with a Vader Bomb for a near fall, followed by a double powerbomb from Zaria and Grace that nearly ends the match. After an intense exchange with everyone hitting big moves and collapsing, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend make their way to ringside, stirring up even more chaos. A series of dives take down everyone outside, giving Perez the opportunity to get back in. But as Zaria accidentally spears Grace, she quickly recovers, landing an F5 on Perez to secure the win
Winners: Zaria, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, and Jordynne Grace
