DD Power 15: Feb. 5 to Feb. 11

Ranking #10 – Gigi Dolin

Last Week: 14 as Toxic Attraction

What a difference a week can make.

Toxic Attraction are no more and this past week left Gigi Dolin lying battered and bruised on the set of Ding Dong, Hello!

The segment was the main event of this week’s episode and Dolin would hold her own on the mic, displaying one of her well known strengths as a talker. Although she would end the show in tears, the NXT crowd were chanting their support for Dolin as her new rivalry is born.

Ranking #9 – Bianca Belair

Last Week: 3

The RAW Women’s Champion has not wrestled since the Royal Rumble but this week she would come out and address her potential challengers.

After Asuka would defeat Chelsea Green, Belair would appear and welcome whoever wins the Elimination Chamber to meet her at Wrestlemania. The champion stays ready and will be watching closely to see who her future opponent will be.

Belair remains as one of the most dominant female superstars outside of the Four Horsewomen era proving that new stars can and should be built up.

Ranking #8 – Damage CTRL

Last Week: 9

While Bayley handled most of the action this week for Damage CTRL, with appearances on RAW and NXT, we are still listing them together as a unit.

Bayley would be unsuccessful in defeating Becky Lynch thanks to the return of a certain Hall of Famer but it’s what comes next that keeps Damage CTRL on the list.

Rumours are circulating already on what is coming next for the rivalry and more eyes will be tuning in to RAW this coming week to see how Damage CTRL will handle this recent setback.

Ranking #7 – Liv Morgan

Last Week: 7

Since losing the Smackdown Women’s Championship, Liv Morgan has been displaying a more masochistic attitude with going extreme in the ring. From bursting out tables and insisting on coming in 1st for the Royal Rumble, Morgan appears to have become a glutton for punishment.

As we head to the Elimination Chamber, Morgan reminds us how she has the most experience in the structure and vows to use this edge to book her ticket to Wrestlemania.

This week, Morgan would show her versatility by tagging with Raquel Rodriguez in a winning effort against Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green. Morgan has been in several tag teams since her debut and seems to have an innate ability to just make them work each time.

Ranking #6 – Beth Phoenix

Last Week: 15

Rhea Ripley may not have been on RAW (which caused her to not be on this week’s list) but Beth Phoenix was.

We have seen Phoenix return to the ring before, more recently against Maryse, but this match of past vs present has been a dream match for several fans ever since Ripley joined The Judgment Day.

At Elimination Chamber, Ripley faces a Glamazon level threat before she heads on to Wrestlemania to face Charlotte Flair.

Phoenix and Edge would open RAW last week to issue the challenge but it would be the Glamazon putting the stamp on the segment by glam-slamming Dominik in the middle of the ring.

Ranking #5 – Lita

Last Week: N/A

In a surprising return that helped turn the tide in Becky Lynch’s favour, Lita would make an appearance on RAW and fend off Damage CTRL.

Aligning herself with her rival from last year’s Elimination Chamber, Lita helps add to Lynch’s numbers against the trio that is Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai.

It remains unclear if this is part of an ongoing angle for Lita or was a nixed segment from the recent RAW is XXX anniversary show but regardless, fans were elated to see one of the first women to compete in a WWE cage match on RAW this week.

Ranking #4 – Jacy Jayne

Last Week: 14 as Toxic Attraction

When Toxic Attraction first formed, Jacy Jayne was considered the most unknown out of the trio. It happens with all teams in wrestling for fans to debate who is the weak link and who will be the breakout star and Toxic Attraction was no exception.

This week, Jayne made sure that she would be the one to rise from the ashes of the stable when she kicked Gigi Dolin through the door of Ding Dong, Hello! and stands to address her actions on this week’s NXT.

Fans will likely be forced to take sides in the coming weeks but this past week goes to Jayne after she was left standing over a beaten Dolin.

Ranking #3 – Carmella

Last Week: N/A

She’s bad and she’s back!

It had been 7 months since Carmella had competed in the ring but she was announced last week as a participant in the Fatal Four Way and this week she came back as her moonwalking self.

Donning new gear and theme music that combines her fabulous era with her current one, ‘Mella proved why she is still money after she secured herself the win like she’s never miss a beat.

Ranking #2 – Mickie James

Last Week: 10

In a match that was made official last week, Mickie James would pick up the pinfall in an intergender tag team match against The Good Hands.

What was refreshing about this match was that James would get in a lot of offense against her male counterparts and be treated like an equal and active participant in the match. We have seen intergender matches before that tend to rely on gimmicks and shenanigans to avoid too much interaction but this match was thankfully void of that.

James continues to show why she is still at the top of her game but her upcoming match against Masha Slamovich will be yet another challenge to her reign.

Ranking #1 – Becky Lynch

Last Week: N/A

Earlier in the night on RAW, Becky Lynch had alluded to having an ace up her sleeve to counter Damage CTRL, who would have guessed it to be her former rival, Lita?

Lynch would stand tall alongside Lita to close RAW, a much needed level of revenge after Damage CTRL had used the previously booked cage match to sucker Lynch in.

Fans have often clamoured for feuds that are not revolved around the titles and seeing these two come to head to head is a great answer to these demands. The addition of Lita and perhaps another Hall of Famer (hint hint WWE) would be an exciting rivalry during Wrestlemania season.

There was a lot of women’s wrestling this week! What moments did we miss? How would your rankings look this week? Let us know in the comments!
