Ranking #15 – Maxxine
Admittedly, few probably expected a classic technical match for Maxxine’s in-ring singles debut but what we did get was still pleasantly surprising.
Paired up with a strong opponent such as Valhalla helped Maxxine through her first singles match and we got to see a string of offense such as the armdrags and crossbody we’ve seen from her before.
Maxxine would win her debut singles match with a Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex into a pinfall.
Ranking #14 – Zelina Vega
Babyface Zelina Vega picks up another victory for herself on Smackdown when she pinned IYO SKY, thanks to a minor distraction and set up with Shotzi.
What is potentially very exciting for Vega is that a day later, SKY would become the WWE Women’s Champion which may leave Vega feeling more than qualified to step up to the champion.
Ranking #13 – Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz
In their first ever PLE match for the NXT brand, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz managed to show out in impressive fashion with an array of stunning tag team manoeuvres and aerial offense. Much credit must be given to their opponents at the Great American Bash, of course, as the opening contest set the tone perfectly and the women were a huge part of that.
The duo would compete again on NXT in a losing effort but they continue to make great showings and demonstrate what a mistake it was to take away the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles.
Ranking #12 – Elektra Lopez & Lola Vice
Speaking of the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles, a team that arrived just a little too late for those belts picked up their first win as one this week.
Having appeared together on LvL Up and backstage segments, the pairing of Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice has been anticipated for sometime and they did not disappoint.
Vice has managed to get over with the NXT crowd already and she was the one to secure the victory with a brutal kick.
With new Women’s Tag Team champions on the main roster, will it be just a matter of time before we see them make a trip to NXT?
Ranking #11 – Lyra Valkyria
The ascension of Lyra Valkyria continues on NXT as she defeated Jacy Jayne in decisive fashion, vengeance for her attacks in recent weeks and at Great American Bash.
Valkyria has defeated Jayne before and took Rhea Ripley to her limits just recently, the next stop would logically be a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.
