DD Power 15: June 04 to June 10

Ranking #15 – Blair Davenport

Last Week – 8

After her return last week where she took out Dani Palmer, the logical next step happened this week when Blair Davenport would taken on Palmer in her return match to NXT.

Davenport would get the victory over the lesser experienced Palmer and being in this match meant she was not a part of the battle royal later in the night but her presence was still felt.

Appearing at ringside, staring intently at Roxanne Perez, Davenport would bait Perez in leaving the ring to attack her but Tatum Paxley would then eliminate herself to take out Perez.

The two have since teamed together at Live Events but we will see what is next for Davenport/Paxley.

Ranking #14 – Kris Statlander

Last Week – 7

Since ending the historic reign of Jade Cargil, it seems the new TBS Champion is fighting to surpass her in list of successful title defences.

This week marked her second challenger to her title when she faced Anna Jay on Dynamite. Much like Nyla Rose before her, Jay would fall to Statlander while Taya Valkyrie watched backstage.

Ranking #13 – Masha Slamovich

Last Week – N/A

In a match just as physical and brutal as the women in it, Masha Slamovich turned a corner in her long-running rivalry with Killer Kelly when she defeated her in a Dog Collar Match at Against All Odds.

The big takeaway from this match was Slamovich helping Kelly to her feet post match in a sign of respect. For weeks the pair have been trying to out brutalise one another and this seems to be the end of the feud but could it be the start of a partnership.

Ranking #12 – The KC’s

Last Week – N/A

The last of the female call-ups from NXT to make an appearance finally showed up on RAW this week and what a debut!

While the pair did not walk out with the victory, they got an excellent showcase against the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with several nearfalls and display of the pairs unmatched tag team chemistry.

As the landscape of the women’s tag division is set to change once again, this duo should prove to be ones to watch.

Ranking #11 – Deonna Purrazzo & Trinity

Last Week – N/A (Deonna Purrazzo) 11 (Trinity)

In a match that had the potential to set up tension and miscommunication between champion and challenger, Impact delivered a fun tag team to instead highlight the competitiveness and sportsmanship of their Knockouts Division.

Purrazzo and Trinity, in colour coordinated gear, would defeat Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans (with Jai Vidal of course) when Purrazzo would roll up Shaw. Trinity would then make the save post match when Shaw tried to take revenge.
