Ranking #15 – Dana Brooke
Last Week – N/A
After making her first appearance on RAW for sometime, Dana Brooke followed up this week with a victory on Main Event against former tag team partner, Emma.
While this isn’t how a lot of fans wanted this duo to meet again, the potential of a short feud on Main Event could be exactly what both women need right now. RAW collected a lot of female talent in the draft so we may see more women appearing on Main Event going forward.
Dana is more than deserving of more opportunities to show her grit and determination, here’s hoping it will translate on to the main show before too long.
Ranking #14 – Kiana James
Last Week – N/A
We were treated to a bonus women’s match on NXT this week alongside the continuation of the championship tournament.
Although eliminated in the first round, Kiana James took the chance to run down Thea Hail for not even being in the tournament and this led to a match between the duo. James has established herself as a consistent talent within the NXT brand and the new champion, whomever she may be, will be looking for a challenger after Battleground. Could James be the one to step up?
Ranking #13 – Mercedes Martinez
Last Week – N/A
Ring of Honour featured several women’s matches this week with a host of new(er) and familiar faces.
One such star who had been missed for some time was Mercedes Martinez who made her triumphant return by defeating Ashley D’Amboise in the co-main event.
The current ROH Women’s Champion, Athena, actually took the belt from Martinez in December so this return could prove interesting for the Forever Champions reign.
Ranking #12 – Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn
Last Week – N/A
As Smackdown’s newest tag team, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn made their in-ring debut this week to establish themselves as a threat in their new home.
Going up against an NXT tag team in the form of Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon (welcome back), the current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions made short work of their foes, utilising their tag team manouver, a double gory bomb variation, to pick up the pinfall.
Ranking #11 – Raquel Rodriguez
Last Week – 1 (with Liv Morgan)
In an unfortunate turn of events, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan would relinquish their titles this week while Morgan recovers from an injury.
Raquel would go solo, before the decision was made, against Chelsea Green on RAW and pick up the victory but without Morgan by her side, she fell victim to a blindside from Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
On Smackdown, the titles were officially vacated and we learn that Raquel will be in the title match on the 29th May episode of RAW to crown new champions but with a new partner by her side.
