DD Power 15: May 29 to June 03

Ranking #15 – Bianca Belair

Last Week – N/A

Despite rumours of a hiatus, the former RAW Women’s Champion would make her presence known on Smackdown when she blindsided Asuka, who had slipped away from the rest of the locker room, and the two had to be seperated.

In a backstage interview, Belair exhibiting signs of her previous attitude and demeanour that got her so over with the fans in NXT. Acknowledging her own shortcomings in letting Asuka get so close to the title, it’s clear Belair is awaiting her rematch.

Ranking #14 – Cora Jade

Last Week – N/A

While the rest of the locker room would scowl at ringside and chase off Stratton, Cora Jade is the only one going in to next week with a fresh victory.

Much like Stratton did, since Jade’s return she has been stacking up win after win, only just missing out on making it to the finals in the recent tournament. While this victory does have an Ava-assist, a win is still a win.

Ranking #13 – Tiffany Stratton

Last Week – 5

The newly crowned NXT Women’s Champion took the time this week to address the NXT crowd and her array of potential challengers within the locker room.

Confident as ever, Stratton would announce a No.1 Contenders Battle Royal for next week although she does not seem to be too worried about her potential challenger. This attitude prompts the locker room to swarm her and our champion is left seething at her ruined celebration.

Ranking #12 – Zelina Vega

Last Week – N/A

I was truthfully worried that Zelina Vega would return to mostly being ringside for the LWO after her match at Backlash but she continues to appear on Smackdown and is arguably the next top babyface after Bianca Belair.

After it was announced last week that she would face Lacey Evans for a spot in Money in the Bank, the two had a back and forth on Twitter and despite Evans cheap shot before the match, Vega would overcome and be the first woman to qualify.

Ranking #11 – Trinity

Last Week – 9

In a logical move after defeating Gisele Shaw, Trinity would face Savannah Evans on Impact this week.

Evans did not come alone, of course, but after locking in the Starstruck Trinity would have her hand raised. Riding high off of another victory, Trinity made good on her promise to challenge for the Knockouts title regardless of who was champion and so she called out Deonna Purrazzo and the match is official for Slammiversary.
