AEW announced the latest matches taking place on this week’s editions of AEW Dark: Elevation and Dark. In true fashion, the cards are stacked and feature several debuts and a match with an actual storyline behind it.
Starting with Dark: Elevation we see the debut of Myka Madrid. Madrid is a wrestler with ten years experience and has wrestled for RISE, SHINE and Mission Pro Wrestling. Her first AEW match has her going against the owner of MPW, Thunder Rosa.
Yuka Sakazaki will look to continue her winning streak against Amber Nova.
Also on the show a big tag team match between The Bunny and Madi Wrenkowski vs Kris Statlander and Tay Conti looks to be a fun affair. The Bunny and Statlander have been locked in rivalry that has seen them clash in singles and intergender tag team action.
On AEW Dark we have the main event culmination of Diamante and Big Swole. Last week Diamante interfered in Big Swole’s match with the Bunny costing her the match. Since then they have been going back and forth on Twitter, but now it is time to settle it in the ring.
Hopefully, this is the start of implementing some form of storylines into Dark that will add further interest and investment of the shows.
The other matches on the show feature two debuts. The first sees Alejandra Lion take on Red Velvet. Lion has wrestled for three years and appeared recently for Mission Pro.
The second debut is Killa Kate who takes on the creepy Abadon. Killa Kate has also wrestled for MPW and GCW during her four-year career.
