Indy wrestlers Deonna Purrazzo and Jayme Jameson were among a host of talent taking part in tryouts last week at the WWE Performance Center, according to Squared Circle Sirens.
Deonna, the 2015 Super 8 ChickFight tournament winner, has already competed in several matches on NXT television. Jayme currently holds SHINE Tag Team Championships with TNA Knockout Marti Bell.
Other women receiving tryouts include indy wrestler Laura James; Jenna Becerra, a former softball player who submitted a Tough Enough audition tape; Noelle Jones, an athlete with a degree in broadcast journalism; Kamila Turquetti, a law student who trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu; Brittany Taylor, a fitness competitor; fitness trainers Shana Marlayna Chow and Marja Chow; personal trainer Anne Phung; and Taynara Melo, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
