Deonna Purrazzo Retains At IMPACT Under Siege

IMPACT Under Siege featured three matches from the Knockouts division.

To kick off the night on the pre-show, The Coven battled the new Death Dollz in a non-title bout. Courtney Rush and Taylor Wilde started with a standard start as Wilde targeted her arm until tags were made. Jessicka and KiLynn King constantly tested their strength when Rush wasn’t getting double-teamed. In the end, Jessicka took King down so that Rush could lock Wilde in the Sharpshooter for the tap-out win.

Not long into the main card, Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly brawled all over the arena. Once they spilled into the ring, Kelly choked Masha with a chain, prompting security to intervene. Kelly stood tall with the chain.

In the third match of the main card, Trinity took on Gisele Shaw. Shaw tried to hide from Trinity in the early parts of the bout, but once she stayed in the ring, the action intensified. Trinity escaped a headlock and pulled out a backbreaker and the split-legged moonsault.

Shaw managed to get in a cheap shot behind the ref’s back, but then Trinity bounced back with a Code Red and applied Starstruck for the win.

Dani Luna made her first IMPACT appearance alongside Subculture in the men’s tag title match.

In the semi-main event, Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace tore the house down in what may have been Grace’s last title shot for some time. Grace made it known from the start that she was here for a fight. Her strength was on full display, but that only encouraged “The Virtuosa” to match her.

Purrazzo hit a piledriver and the Queen’s Gambit, but Grace still kicked out. Then “The Juggernaut” connected with a powerbomb and Jackhammer in response. The final act saw them neck and neck with double maneuvers until Purrazzo landed Queen’s Gambit from the second rope to retain.

Per the stipulation, Grace can no longer challenge for the title while Purrazzo reigns. That may not be an issue, however, as Fightful Select broke the news that Grace is now a free agent. Grace told them that she is taking time off from wrestling to pursue outside projects and stated, “I’ll be back somewhere at some point.” It was also noted that she has interest from higher-ups in other companies.
