Deonna Purrazzo Successfully Defends Against Taylor Wilde On IMPACT

This week’s IMPACT featured three Knockouts matches as the fallout from Rebellion continued.

To open the show, Masha Slamovich battled Jordynne Grace in a rematch from their 2022 feud. Killer Kelly was initially slated to face Slamovich, but missed the tapings due to a medical issue.

Nevertheless, Grace and Slamovich brought out their usual arsenals against each other in an effort to score the win. Grace dominated the early parts of the bout, while Slamovich used many strikes, elbows, and roll up attempts. In the end, they traded pinfall attempts until Grace stacked on top of her for the three.

Despite Kelly’s absence, she did appear in a vignette.

Later on, Jody Threat took on Canada’s own Seleziya Sparx in a quick bout. Sparx had a few moments of offense but was mostly dominated until Threat hit the F416 for the win. We also know that Threat will take on Alisha Edwards next week.

Jessicka and Rosemary had a backstage segment while wondering how to locate the Undead Realm when Crazzy Steve walked up and mentioned Father James Mitchell getting involved.

In the main event, Deonna Purrazzo defended her Knockouts World Championship against Taylor Wilde for the first time. Purrazzo tried to control the pace with arm holds to start, but Wilde turned the tide into her favor with stomps and a big headscissors takedown into a crossface.

KiLynn King interfered at one point, but it wasn’t enough. Purrazzo managed to take Wilde down into Venus de Milo for the submission victory. After the bout though, King and Wilde ganged up on Purrazzo until Jordynne Grace ran down to make the save as a sign of respect to the new champ.
